Business asset finance
Business asset finance advice from Access Debt Solutions.
Business asset finance allows businesses that have invoice discounting or invoice factoring facilities to also raise additional working capital against the security of stock, plant and machinery, or freehold property. Any assets offered as collateral must not already be used as security (fully unencumbered) as this may mean that another lender is ahead of the queue should the business fail.
Money raised through business asset finance can be used for:
- Reducing bank exposure
- Restructure or repayment of existing facilities
- Injection of working capital
- To cover a bad debt
- To fund a specialist purchase
- A Management Buy Out (MBO) or Management Buy In (MBI)
Typically, this form of funding suits established businesses with more than one year of financial accounts available.
